Third heaviest blue weighing 122 lbs. was caught by Dee Ann Musa, of
Belize City, on "Oh Mami." Top boat prize was captured by "Sea
Sport I", 2nd boat was taken by "Sea Boots" and "Lara" won 4th boat prize money. On Sunday night with the tournament concluded, Blackbird Resort hosted the award barbecue and dance. Where the music and laughter could be heard far out to sea, and the
dancing went on into the wee hours of the morning. Although this tournament,
sponsored by Belize Brewing Company Ltd., is the most popular, the Belize Fishing Association puts on several fishing tournaments throughout the year. These tournaments are open to anyone who wants to enter. There are
several boats in Belize like "Sea Boots" that can be chartered for these events and foreign vessels are welcomed as well. S
